That about sums up our response when the midwife told us. Apparently, the skin will inevitably still have soil on, which has not been washed off properly. And soil = toxoplasmosis = bad for the baby....

You heard it first on MSE... :T

Get yourself home now, feet up, watch JK on ITV-2. It'll make you feel much better!
Fingers crossed that these are pg symptoms and not AF symptoms. :)

I have no clue when i'm due to ovulate. Or if i've missed it. It is very weird not knowing. According to FF my AF is due on 29th. 2 days before I go away. Lovely! NOT. Anyhow... we've just decided that once i'm done with this course of antibiotics we're just going to BD like crazy this month. Hey, any excuse right?! :D

Although, it does leave me at a loss as to whether or when to wonder about testing. I had a 14 day cycle last month which is why FF has put me on AF on 29th. Then I had a bit of spotting Monday gone (was very weird too tbh) so I literally have no clue.

It's official.. I'm a weirdo!!! You heard it here first ladies!

Ach well, i've got the best sex life i've ever had. I'm quite enjoying the ride! (no pun intended :D )

Teenie - snap I was thinking about testing on Sunday too if af has not shown by then but will see how I feel. No pg or af symptoms as yet! My back is getting bit better but still painful, not helped by the fact that OH trod on my big toe last night whilst he was wearing heavy trainers and it is soooo bruised I can't wear shoes. Wearing flip flops with a trouser suit and in the rain does get some funny looks!!!

Have you tried vistaprint? they're online, we have had t-shirts printed with logos and words front and back for a very reasonable £6 each.

Thanks for that, their website looks great. I'll give them a go.

Well girls I have been following but not really been feeling up to posting. AF has still been coming once a fortnight and lasting for a week.......witch!! I am fed up feeling the way I do so eventually booked an appointment for docs. Went to see her last Thursday and she was so nice. This is the doctor who has been right through the Athritis diagnosis, eventually finding meds and coming off those meds so I really felt like I could talk to her.

She arranged blood tests to be taken last week and I am going back to see her this afternoon for the dreaded smear test (which might I add I have never had) and some other tests to be done. I honestly thought she would say that there was nothing she could do. She is slightly concerned that there is only a certain 'window' I can really be off my medication for so wants to just rule out any issues.

I suddenly feel very nervous (actually I feel sick) about my appointment this afternoon. I am totally dreading having to get a smear test and Im worried that the blood tests will show something. Stupid I know! Just resigning myself to the fact that it will all be over in a few minutes!!

Hope you are all doing well and cant wait to see lots of BFP's being announced on here!!

Its hard to wait around for that something you know may never happen, but its harder to give up when you know its everything you ever wanted.........

People tell me Im going the wrong way..............when its simply a way of my own!

Glad you are seeing your doctor to sort this out:)
Smear tests for me are fine, it's quick and painless. I know it is not the case with everyone, but good luck:)
