Hi everyone, I'm back! Or should I say, my broadband is back :j. Not sure if you'll remember me as I only joined a short while before moving house and therefore losing braodband. I'm back now so will no doubt be able to bore you all so you can't forget me!
Hi to all the newer than me newbies.
Well, this is my first non pill taking time and I'm currently cd24. Haven't got a clue when to expect AF but fingers cross it won't take too long to get into a cyle.
Have I missed any BFP's (prob about two weeks since I've been on)? Hope so!!
I hope you're all keeping well and have been able to enjoy the weather.

any hints on actually how to get there doglover would be gratefully received.
We've got a bit of a thunder storm at the moment so i'm thinking i should probably log off here. I love thunder storms, i just hate the side effect of the torrent that pours down outside my patio doors cos upstairs won't sort the guttering and barge boards, makes this place sound like a gents toilets, hence me breaking down last night.0 -

Yay a thunderstorm!
I'm not sure if you've already posted full details of the probs and your situation - sorry will try and read back.
We were in a ground floor flat and the upstairs flat was rented to "the roughs". I managed to get in contact with the owners for maintenance type stuff and even helped the negihbours get enviromental health to help things along. When we first moved in they were sooooo noisy and inconsiderate and their high friends used to knock on the door etc. I found it easier and quicker to take a box of beer upstairs and explain in gentle terms how they couldn't carry on etc.
There was a huge improvement and luckily the upstairs owner sold the flat about a year later. It was sold as another rental investment but luckily all subsequent neighbours were much better apart from one couple. They were awful and had physical fights which shook our ceilings! Again, I just kept speaking to them nicely and they eventually worked out that converted flats were no good for noise. The new landlord is ok at maintenance but we ended up doing most communal maintenance. I know that makes us mugs a bit but we wanted our home to look nice.
HTH? Feel free to pm me if you like. I've got a bit of expereince of renting and buying and the law so may be able to help. In the meantime, enjoy the storm!0 -
Hey all, I've just had a quick catch up on here and wanted to say a quick hello and goodbye as I've moved accross to the 12 month plus thread (not that I get round to posting much!).
It's now been over a year with not so much as a tlp for me and OH so for others in a similar boat don't feel you are alone.
EA congrats on your wedding, it made me smile you referring to your DH

Penny: What does asprin do TTC-wise?
Hi - baby aspirin (low dose aspirin, over the counter) is supposed to help thin the lining of the womb, which might help implantation.
Only worth trying if you've been trying and failing to conceive for a v. long time though, it's unlikely to help otherwise. It's not the same as regular aspirin, which are not recommended when TTC, as they are anti-infammatories, and implantation is an inflammatory process.0 -
