Hi again all, well after my 'down post' last week AF did arrive bang on time, i was a little upset cos mo one seemed to acknowledge my post or come and say hi??

    Feisty xxx

    Hi Feisty,

You know, I almost did but then I didn't because I am a newbie and thought that it wouldn't mean much as we haven't 'met'. Silly in hindsight.

What I almost said was don't cut yourself off, it's always good to keep talking; let people be your friend! If someone's down, someone else is up and together we are stronger ;)

:j:j Congratulations on your BFP Giz, fab news! :j:j What a successful month May has been, hope the trend continues into June.
Very exciting. If my days are right, ovulation is earlier than expected, which is, I think, what MV's experience was?

Mine was too - think a few people have noticed that :)

Well OH and I had a chat and have purchased a CBFM!!!!!!!:j I got it off ebay for £40 inc postage, it also came with 10 sticks but they have a best b4 date of Jan 10, do you think this will matter??? Will prob buy some more anyway but wondered if the date would make any difference?

Hi Feisty, sorry you felt ignored - I sometimes think I'm a bit of a thread stopper! I console myself with the thought that there are too many of us here to be able to acknowledge everybody and sometimes the less regular posters get missed...its just how it is. :o

Re. the sticks, I'd get some more I think because you wouldn't want to feel that you'd wasted your 1st month with the cbfm because you couldnt rely on the sticks. It would be peace of mind for the sake of about £7* for new sticks & £7 doesn't seem much after you've bought the cbfm :)

*based on 20 sticks for £14 ish! :D

Hello Feisty Fairy - sorry that you felt ignored it wouldn't have been on purpose this thread just moves so quickly sometimes its really hard to keep up with everything thats been said - especially if you are on 'catch up'.

Anyway let me say welcome to the thread and to the CBFM club :) I would say start using the monitor when you get your next AF, as for the sticks am not too sure, I'd be tempted to just try them and see what happens but then a new box isn't too expensive and my first box lasted me over two cycles.

I got a faint second line on my opks today, high on my monitor but think it'll probably change to peak tomorrow. Looks like its going to be a Bonk Holiday in our house then ;) Am starting to get a few cramps so maybe they could be the start of ov pains as I do usually get them :j

Sending everyone a sprinkling of baby dust :D

Sorry we forgot to reply, I remember reading them, and I'm sure I hit the multi-quote button. It's this 3 thread multi-quote limit that must've got me:(

    Welcome to CBFM club!:j
I think it is OK to use the old sticks, but perhaps you could get a new one as well and mix it? So use the old ones when it's not important (right at the beginning and after peak?).

I'm on CD6 and poas and got low!:j
I know I have long cycles, and OH is away this week, so I think I'll save the sticks and use today's one for the next 2,3 days:p

    Hey! Cycle buddy!
I woke up early this morning, and went to the loo. Was about to go about my business when I saw CBFM sitting there:shocked:

Turned it on, and saw the stick sign for the first time:dance:
Peed on the stick, harder since the bathroom was dark (should've put both lights on). Sat down and put the stick on the monitor.

When I finished my business, the monitor was off, when I turned on, the monitor was asking for the stick again_pale_ Seems I hadn't put the stick right in. I pushed it in again, and all good.

Left the machine, and came back later to find it worked, and was low today:cool:

Wow...I take my eye off the thread for a few days and so much happens!

Congrats Lil and Giz on your BFPs...:D:D:D..hope to see you over on the <12 weeks thread. Giz...I have had AF like cramps/tugging as well...I mentioned it to the MW when I phoned to make my booking in appt and she reassured me this is nothing to worry about.

Debski....fingers crossed for a BFP. Good luck to anyone else testing soon.

Casey....my AF was also much shorter after I came off BCP (2 days max)....It's weird getting used to all the changes after BCP but don't think it's anything for you to worry about.

    Feisty...belated hugs.

Hugs to those AF got. :(

Happy peeing to all the new CBFM recruits! :p
