I'm not keen on football, but DH may want to watch few matches.
But I have it covered. I am planning on watching it on TV, but with laptop on my lap:cool:
I can multi-task:D (Or rather, pretend to watch).

Ahhh - we love the football - we're actually going to the World Cup in 20 days time for our delayed honeymoon so a WC conceived baby would be amazing!!

Anything that gets DH/OHs excited and in the mood for BD must be a good thing!! :D

    xDx

You should wait 'till your first proper AF, but you could also use it as an glorified ov stick too now, and reset it if you get AF;)

i want one! might wait a couple of months though to see what happens.

Ladies, this whole EWCM being stretchy thing.......

Possibly TMI, but - I don't think mine stretches... It does get creamy/thick and seems to be present mid-month, but I've never been able to stretch it. It does feel rather, um, gushy at some points and fairly sticky and I never really know whether to pick sticky, creamy or watery on Fertily Friend as it could be all 3 sometimes........ I only look in my pants.

I'm particularly bad at drinking enough liquid during the day - does dehydration have an effect on it?

Should I be 'concerned'? (Remember, I'm not yet TTC - just getting ready for Nov-ish when I hope to)

I've never seemed to get EWCM either - mine is more creamy & sticky. I bought some Conceive Plus from Boots yesterday so going to give that a go. We were using Zestica before which is meant to be sperm friendly but I didnt really like it because it made me feel a bit 'irritated' downstairs afterwards

I do drink loads of water (about 4 pints a day) - is it worth me giving the cough syrup a go do you think? Funnily enough, I've got a bit of a cough at the moment so DH wont think I've gone totally mad if I start supping cough mixture for TTC purposes!! :D

Any thoughts on how you might tell him? The smiley face test stick was a nice idea too. Have you had a look on other TTC forums for ideas?

QQ Hug.gif for AF showing but hurrah for CBFM turning up! Perfect timing because unless AF showed before your testing window this morning, you'll need to set tomorrow as CD1 anyway.

I like the smiley face test stick idea :). I had also thought of nipping out at lunchtime to get the Haynes baby manual and some wrapping paper as I thought that might appeal to him. Part of me doesn't want to go ott tho in case I jinx it all :o.

When I got my bfp last time I just ended up blurting it out as I was so shocked that when DH got home from work I just ended up telling him straight away

Glad your CBFM arrived QQ – shame it hadn’t come a day earlier though You will be able to set tomorrow as CD2 when you start it up anyway so it doesn’t matter too much. You just need to press the ‘M’ button until it moves on to ‘2’ in the top right hand corner ;)

I was surprised to see my CBFM still shows low as I thought I would be starting to see highs now. I think I will be ov’ing on Sunday or Monday so maybe it will switch to high over the next couple of days :o I think I’m just going to try dtd every other day till I get the peak then three days in succession and then back to every other day. We’ve already missed one this month but it shouldn’t make much difference as it was early on.

I would be more than happy to join the CBFM graduates! :p

@ OxoClaire - I can see why you'd be worried but I think you just have to go with it and enjoy it. You have an 86% chance that you'll be holding your lovely new baby 8 months from now - 86% is good odds! Sending lots of sticky oxo cube vibes your way.

((HUGS)) QQ for AF arriving buy :j for CBFM coming in the nick of time.

I've just increased my bid on ebay, now currently paying £55 for a CBFM + 8 sticks (I will not go any higher, I will not go any higher, I will not go any higher, I will not go any higher) :o

Well we managed a BD this morning as lots of EWCM last night so fingers crossed. MMC says I'm oving on sunday though so we'll be at it like rabbits this weekend too.

Claire, it's Fathers Day soon. I always thought if I found I was PG close to fathers day I wouldn't tell him and instead send him a Fathers day card. it's a nice idea but I know I wouldn't be able to keep it to myself for that long. :o
