Well CD22 for me, MMC says I'm Oving today but I have been OV testing since last day of last AF and there's no double lines at all . I'm now worried that
a) i've got faulty tests
b) I never ovulate
c) maybe my OV date is just wrong and it hasn't come yet
d) all of the above
My boobs were really sore yesterday and more so today, is that a sign that I'm oving soon? I normally get that when my AF is due.
I'm confused, I'm going to keep testing tho. My average cycle is 35 days so I reckon my OV date is later than normal. Ooohhh, is it too early to be worrying that I'm never going to ovulate? This is my first month of TTC so I've never known if I'm oving or not before.xx
Hello. i'm requoting in the hope of some help. Just done todays OV test and still negative, is it too early to be worrying. A negative result means that I won;t be OVing for at least the next 48 hours but MMC says it should be today. Someone please reassure me.

Sorry dusty,
im a newbie here and still trying to learn the lingo and scientific part of TTC! lol
Im sure there is nothing to worry about, maybe your just OV'ing a little later?
If this is your first month TTC were you on contraception before, that might knock you slightly off course a little:j Mummy to little Poppy June :j0 -

Dusty, Hello again! Since it is your 1st month ttc, don't be too hard on yourself...it could take a while to work out your cycle patterns.
It's not uncommon to get sharp bb pain around ov so you might well be oving soon. You probably have heightened awareness of everything your body is doing so notice symptoms you would have ignored before ttc.
MMC is a guide and a good one particularly for those who are regular and know the length of their luteal phase and can therefore work out when they are likely to ovulate to within a day or two.
Did you use the ov sticks in the 2-6pm window when LH hormone is at its highest?. Also, if your urine wasn't concentrated enough, it may not have shown up. It is unlikely (but not unheard of) to have dud tests.
It is possible you haven't ov-ed but it may just be a little later than you expected...
It maybe tmi but lots of seasoned triers get their hands dirty as it were:
Do you check your cervical mucus for the stretchy eggwhite consistency?
This is a sure sign of your fertile window and may be more reliable to trust than the sticks.
Personally, my libido skyrockets just before ov-ing so I want to dtd anyway and I get those nasty Mittelschmirz severe stabbing pains too.
Give yourself a bit of time to understand your cycle and all its quirks so that you can take control and hopefully pinpoint the best times to create a bean x0 -
Ladylegs - I want to buy some of your tests!
Hi Dusty - I'm fairly new to all this too and I think hibbi is right that it could depend on what contraception you were using before if you were. A (faulty tests or just ones that arent sensitive enough) does seem the most likely option to me but then I think it is more common than we think not to ov every month. I'm sure its nothing to worry about. You do have a long cycle so maybe now is the time to get busy in the BD'ing department just in case!! If it was me, I'd test next month too and if the same happens again, talk to your dr. I do know that its not good to be worried or stressed when TTC! Good luck0 -

Well Murray, I have 24 OV test strips and 14 pg test strips left so if I get a BFP in 4weeks, I solemnly declare to post you the remainder for FREE.
This forum is my collective witness.;)0 -

Quaver, no need for hubby when you can log on to the Sperm Bank of California and fill out a Semen Order Form.
REALLY.:D
Not sure about the post-ov ov pains but it seems that there are plenty of women getting them (from Googling.)0 -

I'm trying to remember if I usually get it before, on or after, but I seem to remember all:rotfl:0
