I am a bit concerned about not being able to dye my hair though as I'm getting very rooty, but apparently permenant haior dyes aren't good, particularly in the 1st 12 wks, so will have to wait until then. My hair does look awful though when it gets rooty.
My understanding is full-head colours are not good as the chemicals get absorbed into the body through the scalp, but highlights are ok, as these are applied on those little sheets of shiny paper and the brush hardly touches the root let alone the scalp, so there's less risk of absorbing any nasties. You could perhaps try highlights instead? It doesn't hurt to be optimistic....you can always cry later.

:wave:Evening Iainsmum
I'm very much not out tonight. OH and I have just devoured our dinner and now I am lying stuffed on the sofa!
What are you up to?
I cant really have highlights. My hair is a dark red colour, and I'm going quite grey at the roots, so need an all over colour.
I've read up a bit and it seems it's ok after the first 12 weeks, and I may get my hairdresser to do it rather than do it myself as they'd make a neater job of it and not blob so much all over my head/ears like I do!Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

I'm just plucking the odd greys out of my black hair. Plan to do this for as long as humanly possible.
Got really bad cramps today which I never get but only CD5. I've updated all my FF charts but not doing temps anymore as the thermometer beeps when it's doing a reading so have decided not to so DH doesn't get freaked by OCD....not that he knows I hang out with a e-group of like-minded baby wanters!
Don't think skipping lunch and eating chocolates all day helped.
DH made me tea and just finished his first (and only as it's the last) glass of schloer. I wish he had the dedication to TTC as some as your other halves but he's too emotionally and not sexually attached to DTD.
Starting the come out of the stresses at his work but will be clearer in June. Looking fwd to OV time and getting funky.
Why does pain in head happen too? Me thinks am not well and weekend is upon us. Off to Rhianna on Sunday night too. ella -ella ella a-a-a-
catchyas tom poss. Weekend gardening again if it's sunny..need to but some fence spraying paint thingie stuff.

Evening lovelies
Hope you're all having a nice night.
I went to dark brown/red from blond as my roots were shocking

Talking of grey hairs...:) I've had some for about 6 months now and they are getting worse - they are almost getting to the top - so will be visible and are already visible if I tie my hair back. So looks like it's time to dye my hair...
I've never dyed my hair in my life! I have no idea what I'm doing. My hairdresser has suggested a demi, but not really sure what this means. I also had no idea about not dying hair when PG.
I was very good tonight, I did about an hour at the gym on treadmill and bike. Then had a KFC. Whoops.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -

Hey, I'm back, had some work to do, not only do I work three days a week, look after DS most of the time (apart from when I work), I also do the admin and accounts for OH's company. So I was catching up on paperwork.:(
I stopped having highlights done AFTER DS was born, cos I was on Mat Pay and couldn't afford it, so I started home colouring. But I gave in as a treat for my birthday last month and went for highlghts again. Saying that, I've so much grey in there now, they didn't seem very high or very light! :rotfl:It doesn't hurt to be optimistic....you can always cry later.
