thank you, i will do, at least i will be able to keep the list going when you've all graduated :)
i always knew it would be unlikely for me to get preggers, but i built up the hope once we decided to start ttc. I'll just keep my fingers crossed and hopefully it will stop me suffering the highs and lows of ttc.
    Why not get a CBFM?

    Hi all

    Feeling depressed today :(

Was all excited that this might be the month, and then my periods started last night!

We've been trying for a baby since October and my periods are all over the place, i can't predict ovulation at all. Any tips?
Do you take BBT temperatures? It won't tell you in advance about ovulation, but will tell in in retrospect. One ovulates 2 days before/after the temperature shift (rise).

I think I may be one of those who ov's 2 days after the shift.

Does anyone feel one has to be extra nice/tolerant to OH around ovulation so you don't blow the chance of dtd? I'm near ov, and I had to swallow my tongue few times today:silenced: Things we do for ttc...

Looking at getting a CBFM, they aren't cheap! Was hoping a basic understanding of biology would be enough. Typical, my sister managed to PG without even trying, makes me very annoyed (and a little jealous).

Agree they are expensive...the only way I could justify it was by telling myself that I can ebay once I'm finished with it and get 50% of the cost back.

UKJubilee - Have you tried OPKs? Cheaper than CBFM and will still tell you when you"re ov'ing. Or BD every day ;)

    Will look into OPKs, thanks.

From my understanding (and the video I show the kids when teaching reproduction) BD everyday is not the best. Should BD every other day to maintain quality, shame really :rotfl:

stop ruining my romantic break plans :(

Cant comment on the whole BDing every other day or on ov monitoring but I am reading it and hopefully will have the knowledge to understand it all if we ever end up in the same end of the country full time. (was meant to be doing a letter of application today but decided to eat everything in sight instead :S)
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together
