    Hey girls.

Welcome any newbies and congrats to the (many) BFP's since i've been away.

Well, i've been away for a few months, as it was starting to get to me and everyone was telling me stop thinking about it and it'll happen. So I stopped the BBT, CBFM and guess what? Nothing, nada :(

I think i'm going to start charting and CBFM again as it at least gives me some degree of control over knowing whats going on.

We're now on CD2 of cycle 11/month 10 and we haven't even had one BFP. The PMA is pretty low at the moment. I'm fed up of people asking if we're PG yet, and yet I get upset when they stop asking, it's like they think we'll never manage it.

I feel like such a failure at the moment but hopefully that will pass soon and we'll be back on it.

So that's where I am, how're all you guys?

    SK x

I'm going to wait until the end of this cycle and then invest if I need to - highly likely really given my lazy approach to baby making last night! :D
I'm going to wait 'till June:)

Hello, I have been lurking for a while but wondered if I could join you. I have been off the pill since July and my periods were all over the place. Hubby then lost a very close relative in February and so we decided to take a few months break. Have decided to start again this month and am very pleased as I have now had 3 cycles full exactly on 28 days so here is hoping we are on our way.

Period started yesterday so my little fertility calculator says that I am fertile from 24th April up to 29th April which is great as we are going away for the weekend so hoping this month might be the month.

    Anyway will keep you posted.

    Hi all

Just been lurking and thought I'd tell you that i bought a cbfm from amazon (£69.99 I think) - I then sold it on Ebay for £50 so all in all, it didn't break the bank too much. Mine never gave me any high days, it just went straight to peak so we just made sure we dtd the day of the peak, day after peak, and day after that. I was unsure about buying it too but but the normal cheapy sticks didn't ever show the line for me for some reason! def well worth it for me :)

good luck to all of you, I started thinking that I'd never have a child but you just have to be patient!! x

    Hi Quaver

I used it for 3 cycles (had already been trying for 2 cycles prior to buying it). it was surprising to see that some months the peak would appear on cd10 and some cycles cd13 (i sort of presumed that it would be pretty much the same each cycle). also, I got ewcm on cd9 of most of my cycles which seemed odd as occassionally i didn't actually ov until cd 13/14...

another thing i found odd about ttc was that my cycles varied from 24 days to 28 days - i'm sure they used to be 26 each month before we started ttc! i also spotted occasionally before af which i had never done before ttc.

I need some good luck vibes for my flight on Saturday. I'm a pessimist so I'm worried that the flight will be delayed, or worse cancelled due to this volcano ash!

CD14 for me so another BDing session tonight. I say this every month, but I'm determined to BD past my fertile window this time, just to make sure we get the right days.

Wow, a lot of you are getting CBFMs. I'll stick with charting, but I like the idea of getting one just to tempt fate! I keep doing that by buying tampons and a new tube of preseed for next month in the hope that I won't actually need them!

Hope everyone is having a good Thursday. Only 1 and bit more working days for me and I get a week off :D

So that's what they mean by people timing it wrong:cool:
According to my temp charts, I seem to ov few days after ewcm, but I suppose one needs to dtd during ewcm otherwise the swimmers have nothing to swim in;)

This is another reason why I'm keen to try it. It just seems to be a more scientific way of working out ov times.
