I only beat myself up about it as OH and I just dont find the time to have lots of regular sex through the month. It makes that small window mid cycle totally preciousMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0

I think most of us get to the 2ww and think we didn't do it enough - regular sex or not - as long as we're aiming for our respective windows then even one shot can do the trick. We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0

Same here, OH works night so we really have to plan when's best to BD as it means him finishing work early, me going in late.
Although after 12+ months you do get a bit bored of the planning. Esp when you still have no definite proof you are BDing at right times.0 -

Of the 2 cycles I was with OH, the first we missed because I ov'd earlier than I expected (CD13, 5 days after dtd), and the next, I ov'd 3/4 days after dtd which seems to have been too late.
I want to catch it just once so I could have that 2ww full of hope thing:o0 -
Dusty although I havent been trying for a year yet, I do know how it can get extremely monotonous..I guess everyone is in the same boat though (not much comfort I know)Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0

Newbie here.
Im 39. Never had a single maternal instinct in my body - not ever.
Couple of months back OH got moved away through work and is now only home at weekends & for the first time in my life Im feeling broody but it aint happening !
I left it too late and have now missed my chance didnt I.0 -
HI Tabatha..welcome.
No you havent left it too late at all...39 is definitely NOT too old. Women are having children well into their 40's thesedays.
It may take a bit more time, but it can definitely happen
I'm nearly 37, and like you never had a maternal bone in my body until my little sister had her son last year.
It's amazing how it can suddenly grip you!
Are you actually trying? Are you charting your cycle at all/using ov sticks etc?Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Hi Tabitha, welcome. It's never too late to try it may be difficult especially with OH working away but it can be done. Don't give up hope !0
