I think temp charting is one of the most reliable ways although you kind of only know after the event. Last month I OV'd (according to the temp) on CD19...then AF came 2 days later. I think chopping your cycle in two if you're on a 28 day one isn't always the best way unless you know for sure with your CM and temps. I'm at CD13 today and the POAS still says low. Watch this space I guess.

Best to keep DTD every 2/3 days and keep the quality sperm around. Don't get disheartened your not doing it every day as quality rather than quantity makes them swim better according to some. Plus it'll keep you in the right positive mood to conceive.

    Stay Happy. It's Saturday :)
  • Yay its the weekend :j:j Boo i'm in work for it :mad:
But I am only in work Moday next week so have a nice few days off :T:T:T

So I have a question excuse TMI - I have only had very very slight bromisg discharge eg old stuff today am I correct not to count this as CD1 and to wait for the proper blood to be CD1???:o

Im in the same position as you tink. Still just brown discharge since thursday night so am hoping it hurries up and starts properly. When do i count CD1 from??

That's what FF suggests. (when you get red blood flow - not spotting).

thanks for the comments, feeling a bit more positive today as finally got to speak to the bank and paid off the loan, plus slept ok and don't have to go to work. Think it's the long hours and stress at work that brought me down yesterday. I'm going to write off this month, if we do manage to DTD this weekend it will be good and if it turns out my temp was high due to the cold and not because i OV'd then that will be even better but it won't be the end of the world if that wasn't the case.
  • Well done for paying off the loan Lemon Tree :j :T

This is my chart so far. Do you think temping is most reliable for finding out when and if you've ov'd?
    My Ovulation Chart
I think you ov'd first time around, but I'd dtd again just in case:p

I've been full of the head cold (we both have so DTD not as glamourous as usual!) but my temp went down to below the chart for a couple of days. It's gone back to normal but glad you're feeling better.

Does anyone else find it weird that we have a love/hate relationship with AF? I find myself relieved that she's come more than if she doesn't but really I should be the other way around?? I guess I plan more to DTD than actually being PG!:rotfl:

I know what you mean fanta as when AF is late you get hopes up but when AF shows up and on time at least you know that it was not the month for you and you can start again even though it is frustrating!!!

Oh, no, that's this months cycle with just one batch of EWCM :) Sleepytiger has got 2 lots this month - I got 2 lots last month.

I'm totally wasting my day off. Got to drag myself off the internet. :o
