Thats is spooky us all being such a similar age...

It was a bit weird this morning my CBFM is showing a rise, so had very mixed feeling all day and been a bit sad, but will be telling hubby to cover himself up tonight lol...I cant wait to feel ready to try again.

I couldn't find the abrevitations but it's been good fun trying to work them out... I think page 1 is from an older thread so if someone could point me in the right direction I'd be grateful although I am coming up with funny annotations of what they mean in the mean time and I'm sure you'll guess mine below.

For me, I'm only off the P since October and after 15 years + of being on it have the monthly's to be jealous of. 3 x PL and I'm done. Only problem was trying to count the days and a H who is constantly knackered and stressed and never home. And trying to figure out if they are the dreaded M's when they come.

So..... I bought the CB Fertility Monitor. I'm on cycle 2 (day 9) and after cycle 1 and getting nothing thought it was a bag of !!!!!. Turns out I may have the OV mid-cycle b so getting that and the P confused. Yesterday morning I get the 2 bars to say "increased chance of conception" so low and behold, I'm up at 5.45am although a sleeper til 8 normally! This may be the first time I'm hit the right days so fingers crossed and legs in the air!

Really hope it reaches the "BLB" stage/ovulation by the time he leaves the country on Sunday morning :0(

Will keep you posted on the machine status! And the preggers thing too :0)

Right I've read through and you lot have been chatty

I was thinking about reflexology before, but I am definitely going to try it this month. Found a place that does it locally so it's worth a shot? Do you have a course of treatment, or do you go once a week? How does it work? I might have to give myself a bit of a pedicure first as my feet are looking a bit crusty

Ooooh, I feel young now A sprightly 31 year old lol

It's enough to get my DH to eat enough veg and fruit. Might have a bit of a battle on my hands getting him to pop some vits as well

Hi Fantafan and welcome

Ok, the abbv I can remember off the top of my head are:

AF - Aunty Flow (Period)

BFP - Big Fat Positive (a positive pregnancy test)

BFN - Big Fat Negative (a negative preg test)

BD or DTD - Baby Dance or Do/Did The Dance (Sex)

2WW - Two Week Wait (the two weeks from when you ov'd to when AF is due

OV - Ovulation (when your egg is released)

OPK - Ovulation Predictor Kits (you can use these on a daily basis when AF ends. You POAS and 2 lines will show a positive which means you're ovulating)

POAS or PIAC - Pee On A Stick or Pee In A Cup (when you take a pg or opk test)

I'm sure I'll remember some more. If you don't understand any abbv, just ask.

On that note MV, I cannot believe you still didn't know what 2WW was :rotfl::D;)

Lol MV. I keep my feet and toes nice in the spring and summer cos they are always on show. But in winter they get covered up in socks and boots and pretty much left to their own devices. I dread to think how long the current nail polish has been them. Oops!!
