Dusty, I think you'd be best to check about the smear. It reminds me that I have to book mine but can never get an appointment between end of AF and OV. Nurse advised me to book appointments during this window because I told her we were TTC.

Not sure whats up with me. Forever want to go to the loo. Feels like my bladder is full even after i've been. To early for SSing though only CD18

Hi everyone,

I think i'm posting in the right place. My bf and i have decided after 8.5 years together to start trying for a baby. We've been reading all the posts on the MSE forum and have become a bit addicted!
I'm still worried about how we'll work around childcare, but millions manage so hopefully we'll be fine too!
Good luck to everyone, and i really look forwards to making a few MSE friends along the way! x

On the first page you will find the link to all the abbrieviations (not sure if i spelt that right ) but i'm sure you'll get the hang of them soon. There is never to much TMI on here and a problem shared is one halved

Let me know when you want to go on the testing list - best to do this a couple of days after your AF is due.

Totally agree with you about childcare costs etc. I'm busy payin goff debt adn saving money to cover me for mat leave so DH doesn't have to feel the pressure of paying for everything.

Anyway enough rambling from me. Some of you may be bored but not that bored to read my ramblings :rotfl:

As for checking last posts - I guess if you look for their usernames here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/memberlist.html
And then look at their profile. I'm guessing jenny and SSL aren't their real usernames as most others have been abbreviated.

Thanks for the greeting gettingthereslowly, we only started trying at the weekend so it'll probably take a while! Thank you for the heads up on the abbreviation list - i did wonder what some of them stood for!

I woke up around 3.45am with a real panic on - stessing about the most stupid of things when it hasn't even happened yet! It feels very odd after spending so many years avoiding getting preggers!
