no it was a red one. Just a dodgy test combined with some symptoms and me wanting to see a line. (where has the shrugging smiley gone?)
(((Hugs))). I know what those false positives makes one feel:o

Thanks Q. Maybe its just me. I always get faint lines on asda tests too. I'm a crazy at the best of times, and that nearly sent me mental.

Hehe calling you Q makes me feel like the cheerios coach in Glee. Outstanding!

Question: I don't get the 10+2 terminology? I thought it was weeks and days, but last night on OBEM the midwife said 10+13 to the lady who was due to give birth. What does it mean?

Another question: Although I don't get it, I see the number of days pregnant includes the time before conception - is this included in the 12 weeks? So if you had your last period on the 1st Feb, and conception was the 14th and today was the 28th then that would be 4 weeks preggers and only 8 weeks to the magic 12 week mark?

Sorry if they are silly questions.

For me CD28 - looking like AF is not arriving today :( I hope it's sooner than later as I'm having a belated birthday weekend this weekend. OH is treating me out for a meal Friday. Don't want to be achy and miserable for it.

I think she said "term" +13 as the lady was overdue. Don't quote me on that though. I always though the figures were weeks plus day too.

I also assumed the 12 weeks would be from the date of the last period which is how the weeks seem to be worked out, but again not entirely sure. Got my first MW appointment next Friday so will have to ask as I'm dying to be able to tell people and don't really want to have to wait an extra 2 weeks!!

Any chance you could be pg this month? I'm still waiting for the 3rd magic BFP this month :D

    Morning ladies,

    Any update from the Fuzzster????

Gizmodo - as far as I know they date your pg from the first day of your last period because it is difficult to pinpoint conception. So when you get your BFP at CD28 for example, you will be classed as 4 weeks. So yes, that little bit closer to the 12 week mark.

CD24 and 11dpo for me. Still waiting.....

Hugs and sticky baby dust to all x

Ahhh yes, term makes more sense lol. Thanks for that!

Are you planning on telling anyone now? We've had a long hard think and have decided when it happens to tell our parents and my best friend. Other people will wait till about week 14 if I can. But honestly I think it'll be let out of the bag a lot sooner. I'm no good at keeping things quiet.

I wish. I think I tested far too early (got a BFN 11dpo). But we only BD'd twice about the right time. Going by egg white I ov'd on 11th Feb CD15. So I would expect to come on in the next day or so. But it is my first month and only just come off the pill. I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

Also having been wheat free for a month I'm not sure if my lack of period pains yet is just because of that. It was wierd that I had period pains (fri and sat), which is why I tested as I wanted to take some pills if it got bad, but it never got worse.

I'll be stalking all you BFPs on the 12 week thread :) Good luck to you all.
