Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?

I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

Good morning. Hope everyone is good this morning. I just wanted to say hello because i am new to all this baby trying thing. Although I've been off the pill since September, my cycle is .. well a little more than unpredictable (non-existent before I went on the pill). I however had AF last week and got myself a pack of ovulation sticks to see if I even ovulate.
I also have an appointment with docs to do some blood tests to see if I need any help at all.
H2B doesn't really understand all this. He says that why spend time worrying about it, if we get pregnant we get pregnant. But because of my irregularities, I realise I need put more thought into it.
He also upset me yesterday saying he doesn't want to come into the room with me when I'm giving birth. That he doesn't want to see all of what's happening and coming out of me (sorry) and that it may put him off of me afterwards. I hope he is joking, as he likes to wind me up a lot but if not I don't know if I want to be all by myself in pain. He is normally very good at soothing me. Does anyone else's partners feel that way?
Anyway, no OV as of yet but fingers crossed. I've got a pack of 50 sticks. i hope I get a positive before having to buy another one.
    Have a nice day!

Give me a rough outline of what you want ie size of party, type of ceremony(church, civil, registry office), would you want it all in one place(country house type thing), average budget your looking at(usually as little as poss:)) and where you are and I'll have a good look around:D I also have a basic spreadsheet of things that you need to think about, and ask when looking at venues etc I can email that to you if you pm me your email address...by the way I'm not mental, its a sheet recently done for my sister..it's tailored to her but I'll put everything else back in for you:D

Hi and welcome to the madhouse:D Sounds like you're pretty much sorted but if you have any questions just ask..not such thing as TMI here..all abbreviations are on page 1.
As for your OHs comment......don't worry about it:) Mine said the same and now I have him watching all birthing programmes I can find to get him used to the idea:D Although we haven't yet graduated to having the sound on:p I did ask him why and he told me it was because he doesn't want to see me in so much pain and tbh I can understand it coz I wouldn't want to see him in the same kind of pain IYSWIM but then I told him that coz he was there at conception he's got no chance of getting out of the birth, even if it's just so I can hurl abuse at him:D Can't shout at midwives and nurses coz they control the drugs:D:rotfl:

    Evening lovelies x
i have changed my mind and now want Robbie Williams' baby instead of my ohs you think thats ok?

I went through a small phase of wanting Robert Pattinson's baby but now I'm back to either Adam Brody (Seth Cohen from the OC) or Aidan Turner (Mitchell from Being Human). Either is fine!

  • Morning lovelies..well today is officially CD1 for me, still not in full flow but I'd say AF is def here. A big step forward for me given the last few weeks.

So by my calculations I should be ov'ing around march 2nd, so will crack open the ov sticks that week and get on the job again! :D

One of my colleagues at work has had to rush his 3 year old off to the hospital as she managed to get hold of a bottle of Calpol and drink half the bottle _pale_

My OH said this too. I told him he wasnt getting out of it that easily. Tell your husband he can stay head end so he doesnt need to see anything but you need his support. When I met OH he couldnt even watch an episode of casualty without nearly being sick so I could understand his fear although it was hurtful to hear him say he didnt want to be at the birth. With the first he had to leave the room whilst I had a spinal for my c-section and he also struggled when I had an amnio too so he is worse with needles.

Thanks ladies...so I'll wait till it comes on properly before counting it as CD1.

Nice to think things are getting back to normal, but also a bit sad in a funny kind of way..

MV that all sounds like great news to get CD1 is the next big step after all we have been through. XOXO :A
If you can think it........it will happen
