OM - that's carp about your cycle. I would be pulling my hair out! The stress prob isn't helping but I guess you know that! Hope something comes soon for you one way or the other

pirdi - ooh, I haven't heard that one about the boobies. But it could be true??

On my way to the country and DH is driving. But his cab is not good for motorway driving. I think I will have to bite the bullet and ask the bank of mum and dad for a car loan. Any ideas on how to broach this with them cos I don't think they will be very happy. Cue lectures about saving v spending etc

Well Im normally 28days -/+2days so now im 10days late. but last month went to CD37 and then AF arrived. So im confused so much. I was very sick last weekend not porrly feeling just dull ache like when pregnany with DD and last AF was light and only for 4days.

if its just like period pain then ill be asking for drugs

Yeah think I may give it another week or so. More with the stress I think thats a huge contributing factor atm. Then if nothing go to docs. Need to phone again anyway to book for my first smear. Arrrrggggghhhh. Tried for an appointment 2weeks ago but the receptionist said they only had appointments upto the 23rd Feb. I aksed if I could have one of those to which she replied, "No, as you're not 25 till the 28th." How ridiculous is that, best bit about it is my letter from the docs says smear is due on or before 28th.!!!!

A bit of history then
Was a late starter and DTD the first time when I was about 21. There was a lot of blood and not a very supportive boyfriend who was more worried about the stain on the mattress.
After that experience I couldn't do it again. It was painful and emotional.
Met my H2B and still had the same problems. Had my first smear at 25 and the lady said my hole was quite small and referred me to a doc. I had Fentons procedure which means they cut the opening a bit to make it bigger.
After that I was able to get him inside but only an inch, if not less.
We tried on and off until last year I had my 2nd smear which was excruciating and I broke down to my docs saying how can we ever have a baby if I can;t even DTD.
She referred me to a Sexual Psycho Therapist who I've been seeing since Oct/Nov I think. Only had 3 meetings with her but it's changed my life.
I'm using dilators at the moment to 'train' myself. It's going well. About a month ago I got him all the way in, and this month we've finally BD for real

I guess now it's just practice that I need. I still have another session with the therapist - can't wait to tell her the good news. But hopefully she can still give me more advice on making this easier.

@quaver - sorry to hear of your BFN Good luck for a 2011 baby!

@Sammy - sorry can't help you with that one I wouldn't like to ask my parents for a loan. I think maybe if I did I'd have the full plan of action of how I intended on paying them back mapped out for them.

@oliviasmummy - that is stupid. Are you aware that you can't have your smear near your period for risk of contamination or something? I only say cos I didn't know and got myself worked up about it only to be told when I arrived and they asked when the last day of my period was that it was too soon to have the smear!
