Well good morning everyone. AF arrived properly last night so please can you remove me from the list. I am quite happy as at least i know things are starting to get back to normal now. Now all i need to do is work out when i might be ov. Might be a guessing game this month

    Hi guys

Congrats to Rik and GFH, so pleased for you both!

Well, I took my first basal temperature this morning - 97.93 on day 8 of my cycle. Does that sound normal? It seemed very high on the chart.

My bleeding stopped on Saturday :)

But because it went on so long they want to scan me today at 3.20 and take some blood to see if they can see any obvious reasons for the prolonged bleeding.

I feel better now the blood has stopped. But still find if I a not occupied and think too much I still get very upset so still having good and bad days.

    How are you ?

I'm pretty low at the moment Penny.

Don't know if you still pop over to the MC Support thread, but went for check up at EPU yetserday and it seems nature has taken it's course and the MC is complete and all has gone.

So on the plus side, no surgical preceedure needed or complications, but on the downside having to see my 3 sets of scans laid out - so fetus with heartbeat, to sac with not much left in it, to big black nothing yesterday, sent me into another tailspin.

I can't watch anything on tv about babies/pregnancy, and find it hard to read threads on here about other people's.

i guess it's the same for everyone. Hoping we can start again soon, although our love life has taken a bit of a knocking too recently, so who knows what the future will bring.

Glad your bleeding has stopped hon and hope things take a much deserved upturn for you very soon.

  • sorry if this will annoy anyone but i have a silly question!
i did a first response 6 day early test on tues, had a faint positive line, have now done 3 normal tests in last 2 days and all are neg, i donty know if this is cos its still too early to use normal ones and im not due on yet or what?
i had a m/c at the end of the nov and my period came 11th jan so im not exactly sure of my cycle or anything since then
sorry for a lot of waffle!
i feel it, i have been weeing a lot, eating a lot, tired an awful lot, i am just worried that the tests are neg cos its not strong enough and am heading for another mc.
    sorry again

    Hello lovely ladies :)

Huge hugs to Penny and MV. I cannot begin to imagine how the last month have been for you guys. Thinking of you x

Billybb - When is AF due? Thats good news that you got a +ve with FR, but not so good with the other tests. Its something to do with how sensitive they are in picking up hcg levels in your pee. I think (but haven't used) the Superdrug one is supposed to be good at detecting early. Good luck and remember its not over until AF shows! Keep us updated

Lilian - Im rubbish at the temping. But have you been doing it at the exact same time every day? Maybe you're getting to the start of your fertile time. How long are your cycles? Im 27 days, so my fertile time starts on CD9. I would advise you get lots of BDing in!!

Smartie - Hows the pg going? How lose are you to the 12 week mark. Im so excited for you - sending loads of healthy baby wishes your way.

Slm - Have you tried OV sticks? Might help with pinpointing your ov time?

Legs - I know how you feel love - rant away. Why is job searching when you've already got a job so much easier than when you don't actually have a job. Thats good your LA does that ready to work thing. I wish mine did - I would love to get into LA work, but all my CV says is sales, sales, sales. Bah - I hate sales and am purposely trying to get away from it. Ive adapted my CV I don't know how many times! Im going to the Job Centre today for my fortnightly signing on. So much fun. I might start hanging around with the gruffers today cos they don't let you in a minute before your appt time. Ah well, it gets me out of the house lol

Oh, and on the job front. I went to an interview last Friday which I thought went well. Then got an email on Tuesday to say that I had been unsuccessful. And then I got a phone call today to say that they made a mistake and actually they would like me back for a second interview on Tuesday!! !!!!!!

Anyway, I am unusually excited. I got a letter in the post today - and I have a Jury Summons :j Im 31 and have never been summoned, and always wanted to do it!! And its in inner London which makes it more exciting as I may get a juicy case :D

Anyway, Im taking up way too much space now. Must get me bits and bobs ready for the job centre. Catch you all later.

Hugs and sticky baby dust to all x
  • thanks!

i am going to try and wait til sunday then test again as that will be 6 days from early test so surely must be +ve then if it is!
