Nokia N97! :( !!!HELP ME!!!

hi all, had my nokia n97 since release about august! i signed up with the carphonewarehouse on orange 24 month contract £40 per month! since day one its crashed at least twice a day, laggs all the time, clock doesnt go off at the right time,crashes when people call/ text! i could go on forever with the faults on what i was told was the "FLAGSHIP" nokia phone! i waited for the new firmware update an its helped a bit but its still not the phone i was led to believe it was going to be and now my patience has ran out!

im still tied down 4 another 18+ months on £40 per month for a phone that just about works! my wife also has one on Three which is excally the same!

Can anyone give me any advise on what to do!? i cant put up with this phone for another week never mind 18 + months!

is there anything i can do... cancel my contract....get a new phone because of the faults sold with the phone?!?

what u will need to do if first get them to reflash the phone from scratch.. if i were u i would take it to a nokia carepoint and they will properly reflash the phone.. cpw never do it properly. in london there are a few carepoints which are good and quick

secondly if that dont work u can escalate it at the care point and they can escalate to nokia directly

then go from there... normally once its escalated and tried to be repaired from the carepoint and nokia directly.. and failed to be fixed they will offer you options! and im sure u will be pleased with them..

another way is for CPW to fix it three/4 times and then u can get a diff handset...and as the n97 is 500 odd pounds they will give u a choice of similar handset... HD2 HTC OR SOMETHING like that.
if doing this method take to an incentre repair place... as they will so call 'fix' it by the next day...
this is a bit of hassle but they will give u a refurb of another handset or it will be a new one depending on stock!! i habe N97 mini and it has no problems!!!!!!
