MSE.com is looking for a Web Developer and Junior IT Technician.

MSE Developer

We are looking for an enthusiastic developer with 1 or 2 years experience on the web with an interest in user experience, information architecture, SEO and analytics to help push the development of tools on MSE forward. This is a 6 month contract, to start asap.

The role will require knowledge of the following technologies:

MySQL (required),
HTML (required),
PHP (required),
CSS (required)
Javascript (Required)
Photoshop(Preferable)
Linux Shell (Preferable)

The role entails working with production code and making modifications to enhance functionality therefore the ability to understand and work with developers’ code is essential in this role.

Junior IT Technician required

MoneySavingExpert.com is looking for a self starting IT technician with at least one year's commercial experience to work in its West London office. The primary role is to provide support to the teams of MoneySavingExpert.com, including maintaining our office-based Microsoft network.

This will involve dealing with day to day PC support issues, maintaining the network, Internet and telecoms and liaising with our server support company on more complex issues.

Essential skills:
Microsoft Windows XP / Vista
PC hardware (desktop/laptop/peripherals) build/troubleshoot/fix
Microsoft Office 2007/2003
Outlook
Adobe CS (Dreamweaver)
Networking (TCP/IP, VPN, LAN, WAN)
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 (intermediate)
Active Directory (intermediate)
Exchange (intermediate)
Understanding of Web technologies

The final applicant will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible attitude and have the ability to work outside of normal hours.
