When she said she didn't know what she had planned for next week, could she have meant with the child, as in she doesn't know if he can go or not?

I hope to God she doesn't do anything to the bride and groom, that would be awful!!!!

You want me to come and play bouncer for the day Chris, I'll scratch her eyes out!! ;) xxx

OMG - what an awful woman.
Can you speak to the venue and let them know that someone *may* sabotage, or attempt to sabotage the wedding....maybe there is something that they can do?

Failing that - us MSE'rs will come and make a guard of honour with brollies...!!

Seriously though - isn't this harassment?? Maybe a word with your local police might help too...? although they probably wouldn't be able to commit resources, if they are aware of the situation, there is nothing to stop them driving by.....if they have time.

Yes Chris - which Solicitor has told her? If it is yours then I would be making a complaint against them for unprofessional practice.
Obviously after the wedding, as you have enough to do this week.

    thanks guys

it is a long story, but basic is she hates my daughter, and the fact that her son loves my daughter and his dad

she has stopped contact quite a few times this year, and we had to take her to court, cost us a packet as well as our 2 work, she gets legal aid.

she said last night in a phone call 'you don't know what i have planned for next week'

she normally works on a saturday morning, but if she was panning something then she wouldn't do it, but she knows a lot of yhoung lads who wouldn't bother about what they did.

The paint/mud situation is just something i dreamed about last night, as did my daughter, we dont' want to go to the police and have them, visit her, just incase she meant nothing by it, but who's to know.

As for the solicitor my daughter went mad when he told her solicitor the location of the wedding, as we didn't want her to know, but i'm sure she could find out very easily if she wanted to,

I'm just a bit frightened as when my daughter leaves our house with her dad to go to the car, she has to walk past some bushes, and i'm thinking anyone could be hiding behind them, at the church i will be outside with the bridsemaids till the very last min, so we will all have our eyes peeled.

As for the venue afterwards she doens't know where that is.

I maybe barking up the wrong tree, but i',m not sure

who knows what a jealous ex can do, she asked her ex the other night why he was getting married.

    she's a nightmare

we are picking the little lad up on the friday evening at 6.00pm, but we haven't done that yet, so who know if he will be there when he should be.

thanks for listening and caring, hubby says i shouldn't think like this, because unless something happens your worrying about nothing, but i'd rather be a bit prepared, then i can have my eyes peeled before the wedding.

But you do worry, all the time and effort for your daughters big day, of course you dont want anyone to ruin it, your mind can run away at times of stress and pressure, just remeber to take a few minutes for yourself so you dont burn yourself out.

Who's driving your daughter, like a chaueffer, he will be standing by the car and will keep an eye out.

Not that anything will happen, i imagine there just idle threats and she's grabbing at straws.

Chris - this time next week, you'll be getting glammed up (and having a glass of shampoo, I would hope!!)....how exciting?!!?

Can your daughter wear a cloak to the church? Just a thought....

I think if you let the driver and the church know that there *could* be some shenanigans, then everyone will be on the lookout....

It is quite sad that the ex is so jealous that she has to try and spoil your daughters big day....but hopefully she will either have some conscience, or get arrested for brawling on Friday night...!!

    thanks for those replies

it is a long story, with what has happened with the child this year, but she is very bitter towards my daughter.

She tells lies, like the father is abusive towards her when he takes the child home, god you have never met such a quiet lad.

I could go on with the tales but she's not worth it.

But she is weird, and once now she has said she will ruin it, and 2nd time we don't know what she has planned.

As said it could be talk, but then again with her, it may not be.

She wouldn't do anything herself, those people never do, but they can always find someone who will.

they wouldn't ruin the wedding in the church, as there would be to many people around. They don't know where the reception is afterwards,

so the only thing that me, my daughter sister and friend can think of is, someone running and throwing something, we haven't talked together about this, but we all came up with the same thing yesterday.

I'm going to go to our local police station, were there is 2 community bobbies stationed, and they are always just walking round the streets, and ask them is it possible for them to be either near the church or near our house.

I maybe barking up the wrong tree, but who knows.

Yes this time next week it will all be manic and i will have a glass of bubbly before we go.

But i'm glad it's not this week, as i'm full of a cold and got a headache.

off to get the table runners now

well i am if my mate gets up

thank you all very much for listening to me. xxx

I don't know what it's like in Merseyside Chris, but in Gloucestershire, there is snow on the ground and the sun is blazing...! it is beautiful here this morning - I hope your daughter has a gorgeous day next week.

Hope you get the table runners exactly the way you want them.

    Anything else needed this week??
