e2save/carphone warehouse
I have an issue with my phone (LG GD900 Crystal) in that it drops calls, screen goes black and doesn't work when you're making a call (not very useful when you get a 'please press one' robot) and it freezes, doesn't seem to know whether the keypad is slid out or not as the keypad on screen just will not appear sometimes until you open and close the slide.
This is my second handset, the first went back for replacement in the first month for all the above faults.
E2save will want me to go into the carphone warehouse to see if they say it's faulty, the muppets in carphone warehouse will deny that e2save is anything to do with them and I have to speak to a manager who will then look and insist that it gets posted to e2save at my cost.
When I ask them for a loan phone they will either say they don't have any (they did this once then handed one to someone else in front of me before i left the store ) or they will want a £50 deposit for a £15 nokia brick.
The point is, I don't want it repaired, it's just c**p. I know it will just develop the same faults again, the person on the phone last time said as much.
How do I get them to exchange it for a different phone?
Sick and tired of having one that doesn't work.
Getting to the point where I'm considering dropping it in a puddle and claiming on my insurance, but I shouldn't have to do that as I'm paying 02 a small fortune every month and it's only 4 months old!

Ring up consumer direct in your area, and ask how SOGA (sale of goods act) applies to this. - http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/about/how-we-help/

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -

ok... as a CPW Employee.. im allowed to say this the store you went too are total morons..
depending on how long you have had the phone, its depends if its 4 months old. its at the discretion of E2Save to replacing because it was brought there. but the store and more so the manager should tell you this...0 -

I already knew they were morons, I told them so last year :rotfl:
I'm just gonna have to send it off to e2save so they can test it, manager at call centre said they can assess it for a handset swap but it doesn't do it all the time so I'm a bit worried in case they just send it back!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession
