I would say it's VERY good value for a laptop. Dell is a good brand and laptops don't come much cheaper than that with Win 7 included. Obviously you won't be doing transcoding or playing GTA4 on it, but for a fully functional business machine it's perfect. 3% cashback makes it even sweeter.

PS. Having said all that, personally I'd get something a little bit nicer with a proper graphics processor. I've got my beady eye on one of these:

    Unfortunately it's twice the price.

Thanks for all the info' chaps.

£329 delivered is inclusive of VAT, buying it direct from Dell.

Quidco @ 3% will hopefull give me another £10 back.

Luckily my transcoding and GTA4 days are long behind me.

Please note that recent Dell laptops have got a very poor reputation for reliability. I have a 1525 which has had two major repairs (new hard disk, new motherboard) in two years and now a third problem - it refuses to boot. My advice is avoid Dell like the plague. (My company has many old Dells which are all great - I think they are now all cheaply made in China)
