  • No if you had bothered to sign up to the weekly newsletter you would know that they are delayed. Are you aware that those templates may take into consideration LIVE cases already being heard?? Why rush things?
If you want to jump in then try Govan Law Centre which has templates for the Bank and FOS but NOT the courts. Patience is the key word.

There is not much I can add to Natties post.

A change of attitude is pehaps due for consideration, if you wish to think along those lines.

Remember this individual from another reclaiming site before the announcement & he was always 'on the edge' then, god only knows what he must be like now!

  • hi
I got a letter about my cliam from the yorkshire bank saying cos they 'won' they are not paying out , is this just a standard letter they send out to everyone ??
    cheers
  • I as many are very keen to get the ball rolling again. As i have no knowledge of how it will work or fully understand what can be done i think we should first thank MSE and others for all their help thus far and remember that all this work has been done at no cost to us.

I assume that as the previous case was based on the level of fairness a new complaint for the actual fairness will be a new complaint and thus the 8 week deadline only counts if you can find a way of using the level of fairness?

Pretty much. As a result of the court case no/very few bank charges will be refunded.

The FSA states that the bank still have to investigate and help the customers which includes things like helping them rejig their account, budgeting advice, basically, try help them incur charges in the future but they won't refund charges now that they are deemed as fair.

Incidently, can I just ask who has sent you the letter from YB?

Don't really understand what you're saying but the chances of reclaiming bank charges at this moment in time is practically none.

One of charges for example I'd imagine are different but a lot of cases where people are claiming back £1000's are basically being told outright "f*ck off".

This is not exactly the case, its your interpretation, and please be mindful of implied language.

Can you please advise what facts you base your statement on.
