O2 LLU --> Access

I am moving to a non-LLU area

Will O2 be able to connect me quicker as they won't have to connect me to their own equipment - how long will it take?

    Nope.

    It's a BT Openreach job for a new connection regardless of who you go with.

    In case you haven't seen the moans about O2 Access I'll warn you that it gets quite a slagging off.

    Yes I have heard that it can be bad - but I am moving back to a house I used to live in before - it is a small exchange with few users so hopefully it will be ok

    The exchange is virtually irrelevant. The problem is that O2 have not bought enough kit from BTw at their datacentre end.

    If this were me I'd seriously consider taking the cost hit of an early cancellation and look elsewhere for broadband.

    As kwikbreaks has said Access is likely to disappoint however as the move is FREE it may be worth trying the Access but expecting it to be a PALE imitation of the LLU service you're used to and wanting to move on ?

    If you are beyond 11months into your contract then you need just 30 days paid notice to leave, otherwise potentially have to pay the rest of those first 12months.
