My idiot son and his idiot mate knocked over my Xbox with MW2 in it and scratched a big ring in it, permanently ****ing it. Where's the best place to try and get it repaired please?

What needs repairing? The Xbox, the disc or your sons legs?0

Fortunately, the Xbox is ok. The disc obviously won't read, and his legs will take a long time to heal. Gamestation do disk repairs, but I've only ever used them for minor scratches. Will they be able to make the disc playable?0 -

Without being able to see the extent of the damage, the only people who'll be able to give you an accurate answer are Gamestation..0 -
I would say, if Gamestation can't repair it, it's easier (cheaper) to just buy another copy. Bloody kids! This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.0

Got to be worth calling the publisher to see if they will replace the disc. Normally cheaper than buying a new copy. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -

I never knew this was an option to be honest. Cheers for the tip, might come in handy. Do you know if most publishers will do this if you can provide proof of purchase? This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.0 -

I've done it with Nintendo, they replace a scratched Mario Kart disc free of charge.
I'm pretty sure somebody on here mentioned Activision replacing discs for a fee which wasless than the cost of the game.
It's definately worth trying though. Normally you just have to send the old disc back, no proof of purchase needed. It's my problem, it's my problem

I've rung Activision, and they will replace the game at a cost of £12. It's probably better to do this than spend a fiver at Gamestation and find it still doesn't work. Thanks for the tips guys.
Just means my copy of MW2 has cost me £38, so I suppose I wasn't meant to save money on it lol.0 -
although, this is a problem with the xbox's, creating a big ring in them, sometimes this happens without the xbox being knocked. Maybe contact microsoft? i remember seeing it on watchdog.0
