Morning all
Ruddy freezing out there this morning - brrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Just been out for a walk but came home with the major shakes, having a coffee and some homemade rocky-road to try and boost my sugars.
DD1's options form was completed last night - she's handing it in today so I can finally breathe a sigh of relief....She's doing the cores, English, Maths, Science, PE, RE and IT then French, Georgraphy, Art and History....if they pick history and the teacher thinks they're able then they can opt to start As level alongside. She's filled in all the details about why she's picked what she has and how she can link it to what she wants to go on to study/career wise......Madness at 14.
DD2 was photographed for the local paper yesterday as a "platinum award" winner for school - normally takes a year to reach that level but she's done it since September :T"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Why would someone have a post count of 6 but only 3 can be seen?0

Sigh, I hate working the late shift, feel like I can't do anything this morning because I'm just waiting for my shift to start! I have made two ebay listings however to make up for not doing one yesterday...only got one more thing on my pile to list though so I need to get hunting for some more!
Also took on 7 hours worth of overtime for the weekend and if they don't cover the other shift they've got going by the time I get into work I'll pick that one up too...but it does mean I'll be working 30 hours over the weekend and sleeping in...so glad I've got next week off work! In fact...I might ring in now to pick that shift up...be a nice little earner with plenty of time to rest after...
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time0
