No texts coming through on my new mobile?

Hi, I just wondered if anyone can shed any light on why I arent getting texts.. I've had my new Samsung Genio for a week, I'm on PAYG O2 using my sim from the previous phone. A couple of people say they have text me last night and today and I havent received them? I have £8.00 credit on too, but that shouldnt make a difference?
Who do I contact, O2 or the manufacturer?:cool:
