Bradford is now the worst area in the country for ‘crash for cash’ crimes.

So not many cars in Bradford are insured, and those that are are more likely to be involved in staged accident insurance scams. Not being racist, but it's little coincidence most people in Bradford are Asian. Pointing out accurate observable patterns is NOT racism. (And I am of course not implying other nationalities/races do not drive uninsured/stage accidents also, just that it is less prevalent).

exactly, travel the length of the country for a car bought over ebay without even seeing it (i assume) and then haggle. when they asked for money off i would have told them that they had wasted thier journey so are now out of pocket,no car and a non paying bidder on thier ebay history.
it just stinks of scam.

We have the 4 messages today saved on on telephone. I will report this to the police and see what they say I am not going to call the buyer I will wait and see if he just leaves them alone any more and I will submit a complaint against the buyer.

as said before I wouldnt care if I was getting this hassle as id just hang up but its the fact my parents seem to be more willing to listen. Ill show them this thread tommorow thanks guys.

Errata

Try and coax your parents into not answering the phone and let calls go to voicemail. The last thing you and they need at this stage is for them to feel cornered and say something to the caller they wish with hindsight they hadn't. It will also be less stressful for them.
