If you are getting DLA regardless the rates, you should also be getting a Disability Premium which is about an extra £20 or so for your JS and therefore you HB should also increase if you are not getting the max. Then there is the Enhanced Severe Disability Premium which is another £20 or so if you are getting the higher rate of the care with DLA. Then there is the Severe Disability Premium with is something like £54 if you live alone and nobody is claiming Carer allowance to look after you. I can't remember the exact amount of each, but if you send me a PM to remind me, I will dig out mine and let you know the exact number on Sunday when I am home. I know if I were to get on JS, my allowance would be £144.70 instead of £50ish (I am under 25) because of my DLA, and now with my HB, I am getting almost the max instead of something like £20 a week. So these Premium do make big a difference.

All these premium apply to all mean tested benefits so you JS will increase and however much that is, that would then become your personal allowance to calculate your HB and Council Tax, so these will also increase.
