Hi thanks everyone for all your good wishes, dad came through very well but doctors now saying he has mrsa in his other foot as well and that is not going to get better either.
He is very confused but he also suffers with senile dementia /Alzheimer ,shouting at the nurses etc and told my brother today that he had his leg taken off but they put it on to the other one lol.
I dont think he should be put through another lot of surgery at his age as in May/June he also had his bowel removed and a bag fitted and I think at 84 he is too frail,he is only about 6 stone now and was a strapping man until 2 years ago.
Just waiting now to see what happens as he is still on morphine etc but is being moved today back to the original hospital and is being assessed on wednesday.
Thanks again everyone I do appreciate all your input .0 -
Fingers crossed for a good outcome mommame xxxPiglet
