Ofcom is the industry regulator. OTELO is one of the telecommunications ombudsmans of which BT is a member.pool-hustler wrote: »i'll keep fighting it nonetheless and go through the usual process blah blah.
Who is the ombudsmen? is it OFCOM. I was told OTELO but they are pretty useless.
Guidance from Ofcom on this is here:

It explains that in order to go to the ombudsman, the telephone provider must send a "deadlock" letter.
Ditto Mark_In_Hampshire's comments; I wouldn't pursue this one.
BT will continue billing you for service even though you are it is not providing one to you because it is you who are in breach of contract for not paying.0
