The ESA medical for people with anxiety and depression

the first decision was 12/1/11 dose that mean 6 months from this date or 6 months from the tribunal decision on the 18/5/11 thanks for your time muttley.
My understanding is the original decision... as the tribunal decision is really just a re-determinination of that decision at that time (in January). I would get this confirmed with a trusted source. If so it does mean you're almost at a point you can reclaim."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0 -
Yes, thats my understanding to, its 6 months from the date of the original decision.[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that[/redtitle](house of lords debate, talking about Cameron)0 -
How long do they take to make a decision? Its been a month since my medical and in that time i've had 2 payments go in as normal, should i take that as a good sign? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I would think so messedup.
It took roughly 3 weeks to hear of my decision, when I finally did, I learnt I had been placed in the support group.
Waiting is awful isn't it. :-(
I hope your long wait is good news for you too.Just sold a lawnmower on Ebay.. That's the last time my neighbour will wake me up on a Saturday morning!0 -

I would request copy of ATOS medical report from DWP... that will give a strong indication probably as to what to expect... and it will be interesting reading.
Chances are if you're just getting assessment rate still then decision hasn't been made... they seem to be quite hot in changing the payments and rather anonymous in informing of decisions. (However if memory serves me you're in support group so this is re-assessment? I would take it as good news or no decision). Another case today on the threads... person is getting WRAG rate into account for 4 weeks now but no decision communicated."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0 -

I've been putting off ringing them up cos i'm so scared they've failed me but i need to bite the bullet and get it done. I'll do it tomorrow and ask for a copy of the report whilst I'm at itThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Yeah I think you better.. because there's a good chance you're back in support group and could wait indefinitely for the notification... many people simply aren't getting notified of decisions."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0 -
Good luck![greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.
