I wasent ranting about my mum,
i was saying that the dwp dont care bout people needs, and dont take in account about what wrong with people.
I did ask a question.
I was asking did anyone know what happends regarding the medical on stress related problems.
Thankyou
I wouldn't go as far as calling it a medical, it's more about an opinion of what, if any, work your mum can do.
If the assessor, in there opinion, feels as though your mum can undertake any work she will be failed.
The shift is in what you can do, rather than what you can't.Forums can be/are a good guide to entitlement and it is good practice to back it up with clarification from the relevant department/specialist with written confirmation to safeguard yourself.0 -

Thanks jen, I have decent vision but I just can't manage to read a huge body of text that doent really make much sense because there is no structure at all to it, nothing makes sense without paragraphs, sentences and full stops to me and most people.
I listened to it on audio, too dyslexic for some of the posts that appear on this forum. Even the audio was hard to coax any information out of.
In general, I'm not trying to be cruel but it is very difficult for some forum members to read the long winding posts that go nowhere fast.0 -
It is not the job of the DWP to care about what is wrong with people. I feel like I trot this out all of the time but it's a straight forward example, me. I'm a cardiac patient who *fingers crossed* will soon be a transplant patient, the DWP don't care that I'm waiting on a new heart, they only care about wether or not I can work (I can), can I look after myself without help (i can't, so I get DLA care), can I go outside on my own without supervision (no, low mobility DLA), am I unable to walk or virtually unable to walk (no, my walking is fine).
The DWP aren't some sort of sympathy group, they have a list of criteria and they have to rake through all of the applicants for benefits and see who fits the criteria and who doesn't, what medical condition you have has !!!!!! all to do with it.0 -

Is it in fact required to complete it on a supplied copy of the ESA50, not one you've printed out?0
