    Difficult one spud.

I know. She's on MSN chatting to her mates, finding out what they're doing. One is very arty, another doing drama and some others want to go into hairdressing. DD is NOT artistic, and drama would be the last thing she'd pick. She did think of hairdressing, but can go into that from college, she doesnt need to decide now. Sooo, I think that's confirmed to her she's doing the right thing. We just need to run it by DH when he gets up.

I now have a brew and 2 paracetamol.

Ok, I'll stop talking about DT.... I do have a slight obsession I'll admit.....

What can I do (apart from uni) on my Pint-free week? I really want to go somewhere (in the UK) but can't think of anywhere I can go.... don't want to go home as I will be the month after

Good idea on credit union katsu for Gemmzie.

If she isn't here now can someone maybe suggest it to her tomorrow? I hope they would be sympathetic to her reason to borrow and I assume you can agree reasonable repayments with them.

I'm going to go and join our credit union when I can - maybe Friday if I can get out early - technically we finish early on Fri so this would actually be leaving on time but my boss likes to see extra free work being done.

Evil CD WOW have offered to post me a replacement CD for the one I ordered early Jan and still don't have. I think they are only doing this to stall me further and hang onto my money. I wish they would just give me a refund.

DD2 is in sixth form and STILL doesn't know what she wants to do...<insert confused smiley here>

She started the term doing Art, Textiles, Philosophy and Sociology. She loved art at school but has found it a bit boring at college..She adores textiles and is veering towards fashion. She loves the thought provoking discussions that occur in philosophy and sociology. She has dropped art now and is doing General Studies instead.

She just knows she wants to go to Uni...

As someone who has employed people plenty of times, I very rarely look at their subjects just how many they got and what grades...also extra curricular activities and part time jobs and experience.

Our office administrator did jewellery at college but is a great administrator..

We have been following a three week plan (not a running plan but a tone up your body plan) in the womens running mag. We are a couple of days behind...:rotfl:but it has quite a bit of running incorporated. She is supposed to be doing this half marathon with me in March.

Its handy that I can choose my hours...this morning I went in an hour later than everyone else - as long as I am getting the work done, they don't mind.

Have packed up working for today now, am cross eyed...
