Spud-we are having the same probs with DS and his options.Being car mad,he is adamant he wants to do Motor Maintainence....which seriously cuts down on his choices of traditional subjects...grrr...
I would like him to do the core subjects, along with additional triple science, geography, history and 1 other....but he can't see past "having a laugh with his mates, fixing cars"...his words...

I dread to think what DS will choose when it's his turn.

I think she's done OK with the ones she's chosen. DH was suspicious because she's picked what I wanted her to choose, but it really has been her choice, I hadnt told her my preferance. She read the info and picked the ones she was interested in :)

DS1 (age 16) has just come down stairs totally freaked out by a Mahoosive Wasp that crawled up onto his pillow while he was on his games console in his room:eek:

OH has just got it with a can of Raid but I have never seen a wasp so big or in January before??

Inky, it's a bit chilly here too.

Lou, me and Pint had one in our room, was massive so probably a queen after making a new nest. Pint belted it and belted the light cable out too! So not unusual. And Pint's dad got stung by one in France before coming home and had a really bad reaction to it.

DS1 will not sleep in his room if there is a wasp's nest in there and he is a bit too old to come in with us now:rotfl:
