i am gonna treat myself to a freeview hd ready flat screen this year.
Dad set up all that stuff on it yesterday.
I don't have an aerial so I can't get freeview HD, and I'm not in a position to pay a tenner a month to sky for it, not sure I'd want to anyway - half the time when I'm 'watching' tv I'm actually looking at the computer screen on here! So it'd be a bit wasted....Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Wasps !!!! off I shall kack myself,
I am not here by the way. Am clearly marking books!!! done GP's huffy pair that they are
If Suzysu comes on here tell i am sorry bloody stupid Facebook chat (or NOTchat as it should be called) wouldn't work.Infact facebooks has been pants and my crops have withered (sniff)
Train wise we could meet at the London station (what ever one it is can't remember ) Think it takes 2.5 hours?
the Cats (Inky and Scaredy)? want to make a plan?Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
No I shall be coming...just not sure of the logistics. If he goes to his sisters and I come on from there I know he won't be alone with B and is less likely to loose it or make her upset there in front of them, which obviously what I want. I know this is stupid and irrational (sort of)I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Ooh, maybe I'll have all the ingredients too then! I'll need to look for a mini cake tin though so I can make small ones and not totally ruin my diet.scaredy_cat wrote: »Ames, it goes like a batter which you pour in the tin, and i find it cooks in about 35 mins as well.
Sounds good!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

Sal, you're a mother, of course you're feeling like that.
Scaredy, I could if I had any room in the freezer! That'll be soon though. Or, I have some muffin cases so I could just reduce the quantities and do buns instead. Although I need golden syrup and bicarb first.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

Does sound quite reasonable. I grew up going to visit UK family friends for holidays, then went to uni so had no cash. I've been to europe twice - a break with friends and a gift from in laws. When we got married I took a morning off, no honeymoon as we felt it wasn't affordable. We did spend our anniversary in a hotel on a cheap deal about 2yrs ago.
I'm thinking maybe I should try these holiday thingsI just wanted to be DF and to save enough to cope with job loss/unexpected problems etc, before spending money. We are going to have an anniversary party next yr (am v excited)...
