70p for me, the kids had bun sales at school - we had to bake the buns, then buy them back!!! All for a good cause though - the Haiti appeal.
So I'd like to declare £3.90 total for the week :)
    £20 again next week please!

Well ive gone over my £20 limit by £2.57 in my first week which isnt good, although its made me realise where i waste my money, god knows why i buy so much rubbish, anyway, im definately gonna give it a go again next week and plan/make time for making dinner to take to work. Well done all those that stayed within budget, fingers crossed for those posting there updates today!

Don't worry Nic... I pretty much doubled my spending on my first week last week because I forgot about some birthdays to buy for! I just learnt to think ahead a bit better!

I'd like to declare my total for the week as I am spending my time cleaning the house and ebaying this weekend so I have just stayed under at £23.63 I'll put myself down for £40 next week as I'm away Fri, Sat and Sun. I'm hoping to stay well below that but we'll see!

Massive fail for me I'm ashamed to say. I thought I had given us a generous budget of £40 to take my step son and girlfriend to pub quiz, but we spent £53. Booo. And I really paid the next day :(

Can I join please? I aim to spend no more than £10 this week. That will cover any food bits for the office and any discretionary spending such as magazines etc... I fancy, good luck from me to everyone :)

  • Good afternoon everyone!

Pointy - please can you show me green for this week with a spend of £95.38/£200 - I've managed come in well below my pledge because I've been able to put off for a few more days, the massive food shop that I had anticipated; so for W/C 31st Jan 2010 I'm going to pledge what I didn't spend ... £104.62.

Thanks once agiain for running this thread Pointy, and well done everyone with those greens!

As for the reds - don't beat yourselves up - you still managed to maintain/increase one's awareness of what how and when you are spending, which is invaluable - so well done too!
