Still no spending for me - two days left and then - hopefully - my £1 will go in the sealed pot ..

Only spends today were £3 on bonusball at work but that is me paid up for a few weeks and it is a triple rollover (£117) so who knows might be worth it come Saturday.

I persuaded my friend to come round for dinner tomorrow night so that should minimise the spends slightly.

£2.05 on some sweets for the children after school (oh...and there might have been some for me too...;)) Do need to put some money in my pot (£365 in 365 days) as I owe £3!!!!

    No other non-budgeted spends though:T

  • I've failed my fellow challengers. I spent £2.50 on a pint of beer with a couple of work collegues. My dreadful boasting of no spend lies in tatters:(

    Can I beg forgiveness?
Credit cards + Loans - Savings in Jan 2012 = £26,228.16 . Need to get paying them off!

Don't worry it happens to the best of us. I must say a £0 budget would be impossible for me I know I need some cash that I can spend. That way I take so long deciding if that thing is worth it or should I save it incase there is something else I want. Might be worth trying for £5-£10 next week and then try cutting it down week by week. Good luck for the rest of the week.:D

  • I'm doing ok, haven't spent anything of my £0 budget!!

However, I am suffering. pointypenguin, what you said about better having a few pounds available, so you don't feel deprived! Ah well, only few more days and it will be over :)

Food shop was in yesterday (seperate budget so that doesn't count!) but it does mean less spending on snacks etc now:j

Doing better than last week so far... £7.55 of my £25 budget... am hoping to keep it under to make up a little for my dramatic overspend last week!

I am at the theatre later today and it's in the city centre so hopefully, fingers crossed, I'll be able to resist spending too much though I anticipate a slightly higher daily spend than usual! ;)
Total debt at LBM... £16,815.02
  • Not going to have chance to spend today so a no spend day for me

Another £2.48 for me, bringing me to £4.68 for the week, this one should be an easy one :D

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time
