No un-budgeted spends yesterday but I need to buy lunch today and £1 for dress down this should be easily manageable which leaves any extra money to go for my night out tonight.

    Have a good MSE day:D

Well ive gone over my £20 limit by £2.57 in my first week which isnt good, although its made me realise where i waste my money, god knows why i buy so much rubbish, anyway, im definately gonna give it a go again next week and plan/make time for making dinner to take to work. Well done all those that stayed within budget, fingers crossed for those posting there updates today!

  • Don't worry it happens to the best of us. I must say a £0 budget would be impossible for me I know I need some cash that I can spend. That way I take so long deciding if that thing is worth it or should I save it incase there is something else I want. Might be worth trying for £5-£10 next week and then try cutting it down week by week. Good luck for the rest of the week.:D

    Cheers Pointy

I managed the rest of the week with no spend. TBH I could have easily made it but I have a work colleague having problems at work so the pub was an emotional support thing. I guess failing the challenge is worth it. I enjoyed the pint though so I have to use this smiley

As an intro to my psyche...it is better that I am given a near impossible task, as I will strive to achieve it. Give me any rope and I will take it:D

I'm gonna try for £0 again next week.

I only spent £1.60 today on sweets for the children after school. Have around £8.60 left (need to work correct amount out when I get home - am at DS's swimming lesson at the moment) I have also put some money in my £1 saving pot - and need to put another £2-3 in, but should have £5 leftover at least! Am chuffed, will update final amount later pointypenguin x

Still £4.68 for me; as I'll be at work from 8am Saturday to 10pm Sunday I'll call my total in now! I'm off work for a week after that so better put my target to £25 next week, in case I go out. Well done everyone :)

So to update - Have put another £3 in my £365 in 365 days pot. Have £6.35 left!!! Will post over the weekend re next week's challenge, but imagine it'll be £20 again. Will be a low/no spend weekend - not intending on going anywhere- too busy running my children around to their various activities/parties etc...... ;)
