iPhone warranty

When taking out the iPhone on contract, I noted the phone had a 12 month warranty period. Does this mean that if the phone breaks after 15 months, despite the fact I'm still in contract O2/Apple won't do anything about it?

no , the phone and contract are 2 different things , you could sell the iphone as soon as the contract starts

Apple are supplying the phone warranty , not o2

They will still help you with any problems but you would have to pay for a replacement if it breaks. You can buy an extended warranty from Apple for £60
