have scanned/cleaned with

    have uninstalled spybot only reinstalled it to scan as i had this problem yesterday.

    spybot's okay to leave on your system, just disable tea-timer

    as i said uninstalled spybot but have just beed in c://program files and theres still a read only spybot file in there which has a teatimer file in .i've tried deleting it but it won't allow me
    get waring up saying: advcheck.dll:access is denied

    is it a prob to leave it there or should it be deleted

    oh ok. was told last time i had a prob with pc running slow that it maybe conflicting with spyware terminator and was suggested to try deleting spybot

    if spybot is going to conflict, it is the tea-timer part that will do it, as that is a real-time element.

    I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple :D
