I have noticed microfibre cloths are mentioned, they sometimes do 4 for £ in the £ shop, are these worth getting??

Done all the ironing whilst watching working lunch :money:

You are soooooooooo going to laugh your socks off at me! I completed my tax return last week and paid what I owed only to find the same amount was returned to my account a couple of days ago. Mmmm I wondered why has that happened, I'll wait for a letter. But me being me I couldn't wait to find out so went onto the HMRC site and had a look at the account which said I was still due a refund of amount already paid and repaid. Curiouser and curiouser so I checked the calculation and then  the penny dropped, I had already overpaid by the amount I thought I owed :rotfl::T So I have now submitted a request for the overpayment to be returned to my bank account. Thankfully it was not a huge amount involved.

Moral of the story........ make sure you read whether you owe or are owed tax back! *my defence it was almost midnight and I wanted to sorted*

And on that note I shall declutter lunch before I collect Miss A and W.

ETA: Think I need to confirm final income figures for WTC before end of month. Will check that out later.

I’m actually finding a balance between work/home at the moment so quite proud of my little self. I do find it really difficult working from home. There are times I get distracted between the two. But I’m glad to say that I’ve done the work bits I needed to do this morning, got all my flylady jobs done – having a bit of lunch whilst reading all these posts then I’ll crack on with the washing.

Greenbee – What are your spider defences? Would love to get rid of some of ours!
I have electromagnetic/ultrasonic plug in pest repellers (one upstairs, one downstairs), conkers on all the window sills, a conker repellent spray for the windows during the autumn, and a couple of battery operated ultrasonic repellers as added extras. I also have removed a much clutter as is humanly possible so there is nowhere for them to hide... and have tried to fill all the cracks.

As for the working from home... I'm mostly working from home at the moment and find I do very little actual work during the day - I end up getting most of it done at night :o

I've just popped on to see what the lists are so far this week. I've been offered a job at the hospice where I was doing voluntary work - still doing the same thing but actually working for them which was a bit of a surprise but nice to be asked. It means I won't be around much but I'll keep checking the lists and then seeing what I can achieve. The good thing is it's school hours with reduced hours during school holidays.

Hugs to you all - I miss [STRIKE]chatting[/STRIKE] working hard with you all!

Right, I've an hour to try and get a few things done.

Big hugs to you all xxxxxx
Congratulations mudders. I know how much you enjoy your hospice work, so it's great news for you and your clients. Are you still going to keep your clinic on at home too?

Been to reflexology... TD checked and put on for a bit longer. Just making lunch... then I need to get on and get some work done.

    Afternoon Ladies

Sorry have not posted and not caught up with thread either. Not had very good few days. KH turned up on Sunday and I thought he was up in room chatting with DS but when DS came down and I asked where he was ..........sleeping in his bed!!! Does he think this is a hotel!!:mad: Then heard him shuffling about in kitchen – after he left went out there and he had decluttered 3 chicken drumsticks, what was left of a lamb casserole and 3 bread rolls and left all the dirty dishes strewn about.:mad: Is it me or do you think this was a blooming cheek? Have had ongoing probs with DS over the last few days but hopefully can see light at the end of the tunnel. Also DD has decided she is moving back home and going to commute to Uni – am so pleased about this as even though she was hard work a few years ago she really is my best friend now and love having her around (apart from the mess ):D
Anyway sorry to rant – feel better now. Flying wise have done WM X 2, Emptied dishwasher, cleared coffee table in LR, Tidied throws and cushions, S&S two bathrooms, been to the shop for bits and pieces, cooked roasted peppers.. creamy garlic mushrooms..potato and onion bake.. lamb steaks in oven.

Jinky – Tried answer your FB message but the damn thing not working – hoping normal service will be resumed shortly
LadyL - Hope everything is ok with you
Diva – Healing vibes for Trist, Michelle and you
Toots – Oh yes, Did my Tax Return yesterday. Hugs for you too

Hugs for everybody else that needs – have no chance on reading back all the posts since Saturday or will get nothing done
