  • Just a quick one before I go in the bath!

Yesterday I noticed my cleaning cupboard is not well stocked so please can you all give me you best products for cleaning so I can stock up a bit when I do go out shopping and go to the post office!

I have noticed microfibre cloths are mentioned, they sometimes do 4 for £ in the £ shop, are these worth getting??
Crazy unorganised mum in need of help!

    Mice in toasters

    more mice..

Yes yes.. it is gross.. but if we will feed them!

a search also comes up with this thread lol
That's why I hate having bread around... and toasters. Mine only comes out occasionally (mostly when I have visitors) then gets cleaned out and goes back in the cupboard. It's an ancient one, so I can't justify replacing it but someone MUST have invented an easy-clean toaster by now...
then out on the great tile hunt of Hertfordshire - a game I am getting a little bored of to be honest.
what kind of tiles are you looking for... I have secret sources for some...:D

Showered, exfoliated, intensive hair conditioner on, teeth cleaned, dressed (nearly forgot about that :rotfl:) and another load of laundry in. Half of TD stuff taken out for ironing, the rest left to get crispy... Still now work done :o. Some of it MUST be done by the time my boss wakes up, to distract him from the fact that I won't be hear to discuss the 'issues' with the other stuff.

Hope to clear the laundry today, and might even tackle the airing cupboard in case that's where the spiders are living (then again... that's why I hate doing it :(
  • Toots my lovely - how remiss of me!!! Though I did think I did it on Saturday, but hey I've slept since then so who knows!!!! Had a lovely day and so did mum. Yippee! Another phone call off the list, and builder is booked for an inital visit for the week of 8th Feb (he and his son move in for the duration as they're coming from Norfolk). He'll plaster round the fireplace, replace the upstairs window sills, sort out the utility room, sort out some skirting, go over the rest of the house to plan, and possibly make a start on the garden. Provisionally the rest of the garden will be done 1st week in March.

And as there is no VAT on his labour, plus he has his own kit rather than hiring it, he'll be cheaper than the local guy even with travel AND if he takes as long to do it.

Better head off for my appointment now... still no work done :o

    This morning I have..

    WM x1
    TD x1
Sorted beasts and flung them in school
DS2 has returned home as there is a burst water main so the school has no water = no toilets so he is here.

I now have to go release my mothers dogs.. and maybe steal one for a few hours.. she eats everthing in sight if unattended for any period of time so I said I'd bring her here while my mother is away.. I'll make my sis collect her later, she is looking after Jacob today.

I need to go buy something for dinner tonight.. gammon is defrosting and I think new potatoes sound good.. :D
