    I did it!!!!!!

Can I have 5 - yes FIVE stars please???

    :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

Toots, have I ever had 5 stars before? I dont think so, but you may remember a time.... xx

I didnt get to read my book, but have been watching Bolt with the little one.

I sorted beside table, emptied drawers of carp, put pyjamas, scarves, hats, gloves etc in them, and books in the top one. :D

I built one of the units for the bathroom, and degrotted the pipes behind the sink and toilet.

Upstairs is absolutely spick and span :T:T:T

Downstairs is beautifully tidy and lovely - but not exactly show home material. :rotfl: But enough for me to put my feet up for the rest of the day and enjoy my M&S chicken dinner when its ready :D

See you all on the new thread xx

    Triker, take it easy xx

I have decided(after someone else mentioned it on here??????) that I am going to pretend that we ARE moving into that other house and I am going to get rid of anything that I wouldn't want to come with us.....so the major cull should start tomorrow (AF allowing) but if not a major one then the mini version of one to get me started......

Thats a good idea - I'm going to borrow that one, my Mum calls it her "what would someone do with this when I'm dead" clearout and if she can't think of anyone wanting it then she gets rid!! She has NO clutter anywhere and coming here stresses her out sometimes!!

(((((hugs))) ceebeeby... I think you need to make life uncomfortable enough for him that he thinks he'll be better off elsewhere... or just sling him out... or maybe ebay him? (You'll have to work on your marketing though!)

We've been to the park and i've done HH on the Wii fit. It's Oh's works black tie ball on Saturday and my skirt will go on but i can't breath or move . I've ordered some slimming pants and am going to stick to the WW fast track diet for
the week as well as loads of exercise but i'm not sure i have enough time:o. Whatever i achieve will be better than it is now.:(
Holly - I found my shape changed dramatically in the first couple of weeks of my new diet/exercise/fitness regime and things are all fitting better round the middle (actually, my tummy has basically just disappeared - I've lost 3cm off my waist measurement too). This was when it was snowing so my activity levels were pretty low. Apparently it is likely to be due to the VAST quantities of vegetables I've been eating. With my main meal I've been having 100g each of three veg e.g. carrots, cabbage, broccoli; cauliflower, broccoli, spinach etc... Make sure you have more veg than fruit (my other meals are vegetable soup, toast with humous/cottage cheese and salad; breakfast is either fruit and porridge or fruit, yogurt & muesli or 2 eggs, toast and fruit). It fills you up, have very few calories but also has lots of vitamins and soluble fibre. You'll need to drink LOTS as well (some of the others on the FB discussion also found they were drinking considerably more) and fennel tea is a good one to try (it's quite often called slimmers tea). And do some pilates.... train your tummy to stay in :D

    1. Catch up on any calls/chase appointments
    2. Update finances for January and organise February payments
    Passport online application
Tax return - I don't really need to do one, but I've been issued the wrong tax code and the phone lines are constantly busy, so this might be the easiest option. I think I might have some stuff saved on line anyway.

Pack up utility room - half done. Need to work out what to do with 20-odd cake tins and a cupboard full of vases...

    Meal plan

I don't think I'll get to the kitchen window sills as they don't really need doing and other things are a priority, but I'm pleased with how much I've got done this week, and it hasn't really been a struggle. This week will be about preparing for the builders, next week NOTHING will be done as the builders will be here, and then afterwards will be about clearing up before they come back!

    Good afternoon!

Well I have been a busy bee so can I claim Four Stars please!!!!

I have also cleaned the car from the inside and cleaned the loft out so it is ready for painting!

I got a knock on the door this morning at 7 am. It was the Ex, saying he wanted to see DD2. I let him in, he said he had just walked from his girlfriends' about 12 miles away, as she has been admitted to a Mental Hospital!!!! So he was in the LR for a while and then while I was out of the room he decided to lay down on my sofa!!! So when I went back in I told him to get up. He then proceeded to argue with me, I told him to get out of the house and leave me alone. When he was leaving I asked him why he smelled of alcohol. He said because he did. I said but they dried you out last week when you were up North?! He then said but they didn't help me. So I said but the only person that can help you is yourself. So he said he knows what he has to do. I said fine, in future if you want to come again and see DD2 you need to give me notice. Oh and before he left he asked me if he could sleep in the garage for an hour but I told him where to go!!! He has lost his phone now so can't call me. I hope he won't come back. To be honest they should have admitted him to the Mental Hospital the same time as his girlfriend....

So needless to say I have not had a great day :(

    I finally did it . . . I cleaned the oven!!!!!

After cleaning the over I then had to -
    Clean bath
    Mop bathroom floor
    sweep & mop kitchen floor
    S&S Kitchen
Clean and shine sink and taps

All due to making so much mess cleaning :rotfl:

DD's sniffles and teething seams to be getting worse so I'm not sure I'll be doing anything but nursing a poorly baby tomorrow :(

Could it be all the rushing around in the lovely new car? Maybe you've got too excited and overdone things. Try to relax (how about a nice soak in the bath with some candles and relaxing music) and see if you feel better tomorrow. And have a big (((((hug))))

Walked to the shop (2.5 miles) and back (1.5 miles) for lettuce, tomatoes & yogurt, so I'm over my 10000 steps for the day. I feel much better for the exercise and fresh air too, so am going to reward myself with a cup of herbal tea, dried pear and half an hour of reading trash...
erm where did the other mile go - or was it a circular route?
