That is a tad unromantic.. Plus she would never accept that....
giving a house doesn't seem very romantic either
however girls won't refuse a house or money but letting her actually buy it legally saves lots of hassle for both parties
use some imagination, you don't have to actually give her the money just write the cheque out for the house.0 -
Alongwith the cheque, (as Pincher stated) you will need all your documentation, ID, proof of source of money etc to satisy money laundering requirements...0

Well thanks for the advice everyone. I foolishly waited for Monday to come round and consulted my solicitor and as a result the house is sold to a cash buyer. Next time I will just be more impulsive and forgo all the legal aspects.It must be accepted as a principle that the rifle cannot replace the speed of the horse, the magnetism of the charge and the terror of cold steel.
