Oh yeah, both those plants root readily from cuttings
Remember to take the cuttings from this year's growth, but not the soft bit at the tip. Leave only a couple of leaves on and bury the cutting (after an application of rooting hormone) so that only those two leaves are poking above the surface.
Do it now so that they are advanced enough by about end august to pot up.

I have been saving seeds for use next year.I started with bean seeds, runner, broad and french a couple of years back and planted them the next and got nearly 100% germination and excellent yields and the same again this year.Last year I saved flower seeds as well marigolds, asters, cosmea, sweet williams and wallflowers and they were fantastic. This year I have taken seed from everyflower that seeded to try it next year.
This year I am trying carrots and parsnips and if the parsnips that have self seeded on my allotment are an indication they will be good.
I have also always saved a few potatoes and filled in row ends when my purchased seed has run out and I have never noticed any difference.
Soft fruit is very easy to get going from cuttings, red and black currants.Gooseberries I found slightly more difficult.Rapberries and strawberries spread themselves. Its good fun and saves loads on buying seed.
