Sky plus multiroom problem

Bought an additional sky plus box off ebay, connected it up myself and phoned sky to activate a multiroom subscription.

Everything seemed to work fine, getting all the channels as my other sky plus box. Problem is that it seems to be operating as a standard sky box, with no facility to pauise live tv, record programmes or watch sky anytime.

Could sky customer services have activated it wrong or is it more likely that one of the feeds from the satellite is not working correctly.

Anybody?

If you installed it today,it can take up to 24hrs for everything to come on.Is it connected to the phone?
If it is,on the remote press:
SERVICES
4
0-1-SELECT
NEW INSTALL
Then follow the on screen prompts.

Did you point out that it was a Sky+ box and aks them to activate the recording features?

If not I would give them a ring back.

Gave them a call there and turns out they hadn't activated the recording facility as was suggested.
