Praise for personal shopper in Debenhams MK

My darling husband (love him!) decided I had been stuck in a rut and as I am returning to work soon I needed new clothes and a bit of a mental boost... so on our way to MK he announced he was treating me - like it or lump it. Once I stopped sulking (I hate shopping for me!) we decided the sensible thing would be the free Debenhams Personal Shopper service - if they had any times
We were fortunate and they had a late slot so we went and spent a few hours trotting round the other shops.
Returning we went through what I wanted, what size I was and a few other things (like colours etc) before the lovely lady dashed off whilst I enjoyed my cuppa in the personal shopping area (she'd sent hubby off to buy a newspaper with a 10% off Debenhams spend LOL). She returned with arms full of stuff and most of it had me looking VERY doubtful - but grudgingly (heck I was here now and it wasn't like we HAD to buy anything) I tried the first suit on... well... I'll be... it fitted rather well! Hmmm ok... next was a black pair of trousers that were like they had been purpose made for me! Result. The biggest surprise was a navy dress and trousers (jacket not in yet) - I loathe navy... I never buy navy... well I didn't used to
It just fitted SO well!
Long and short - sure it's not the cheapest place to shop - sure I could go to Primark etc... but when you have to work in a professional environment with "suits" it's worth occassionally treating yourself to clothes that actually LOOKS like it fits properly
I've already decided that I'll be going back in about 6 months time
The advice and suggestions were so helpful and they DO know what they're on about
