Cheesecake in the oven and French rolls waiting to go in. I only recently discovered the French method - a bowl of boiling water at the bottom of the oven and dough also brushed with water before baking. Anyone have a good recipe for sand cake or pound cake?0 -
Haven't been here for a while but would like some advice. I bought one of these Nordicware Jubilee Bundt pans (large) from Lakeland today at 40% off, it came to just under £20. Its good quality, but I'd like to gather opinions from regular bakers on whether I have paid too much? I can't help but think that Aldi or Lidl will churn out their own versions in due course. Opinions please.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Tried jack monroe's white chocolate tea bread for the second time today and both times it had been brilliant, such a cheap easy recipe! I'm sure it's going to become a household staple.
That sounds lovely- I fancy giving it a go today. Thanks for the inspiration!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
