    Hiya guys,

Hope you've had a relaxing evening.

Just to say, I achieved all I had wrote down on my list today...

Posted DVD's which I had sold on Ebay.

    Got a haircut.

Went to my friends, had a coffee, and walked into town with her.. but still forgot my sunglasses which I'd left at hers last week!
Was great to see her. Was great to get out and mingle! :-D

Picked up a tasty Indian, which I have just wolfed down while watching the cracking show that is 24. Kiefer is The Man :-)

Th bloke who runs the homeless drop in centre, called me back, after Id called him this afternoon too. I'm starting work there Wednesday morning 10am. Looking forward to it.

Oh, and I bought a second hand bike on Ebay, with the money Id made from selling the clutter. Paid *a bit* more than I really wanted to, but it's in quite good nick, and it's half what I was looking at spending on a new one. Am looking forward to getting out on it, as I live 1 minute away from the river / park :-)

Gonna watch rest of 24 and then to bed.

    Night night,

    Sim x
  • Hey lilhut
I dropped alot of weight when I first started cutting down

Between the wine 600 calories in a bottle, the midnight feasts, the pop and sugar needed the next day to function etc. I reckoned when drinking i'd normally take in an extra 1000 calories a day.

Jo on the other hand says she doesn't eat when drinking - so we are all different! X

if you are worried - speak to a doc? You've gone through an emotional time - just take care of yourself xx
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

That's hilarious - gotta be a good sign - I didn't even mention booze just then!

    Didn't touch a drop today.

Had a craving for a drink a few times this morning, and around lunchtime, and subsequently didn't want to go out, thought, f@ck it, and faced it head on by going into town and taking in the fresh air :-P

So, I've been sober now since a week last Saturday.

    G'night,

    Sim x

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Can I join with this thread please? I am seriously trying to cut down on my wine consumption after realising that pouring a glass of red (or three) has become a bit of a nightly habit  Sometimes I don't even want to drink, which makes no sense whatsoever!

Thanks and look forward to meeting you all
