I don't think it will stay long but I feel the need for a change. Any other suggestions gratefully received - am thinking energised & positive (no, I've not turned into a battery! :rotfl:)

It's nice having you back properly, hon - I missed you :A

    I'm off for a bath :)

Budgie too is a chinese dragon, (1964/wood ;)) like the idea of being energised and positive :T

Though I have been productive this weekend. Mr Budgie has been gone a month. I am glad to be back too, enjoy your bath and make sure you dry your fur properly. You don't want Bear Flu now do you?

Jo I hope you have a great day tomorrow. It's nerve wracking I know but you will be fab....wonder how many teachers will be stuck abroad?????

I had a major turning point last night. Friend came to stay, bought a bottle of red with her. Didn't bother me at all. Did have a long afternoon walk in the sun and really did fancy joining her for a cider at the pub we stopped at, but I think only because sunny afternoons by the canal=cider. I had a lime and soda instead

OMG - I turn my back for a day and HB has been eaten by a dragon

CAZZA - Looooovely to see you!!!! :j I have been thinking about you too didn't just have Graeme's courage to message you. Please stay with us.

Sim - positive stuff there, keep getting out and about. I started running and it has made huuuuuge difference. Even BF is saying when I Skype him that I sound so much better.

No news about the dog - they haven't called back. :(

DD was out with her dad today. I thought that I will have huuuuge amount of time to do everything but after driving back (our meeting point is about one hour drive from here), doing massive shopping in a shop where I don't normally go (walked couple of dozen times from one end of the shop to the other cause couldn't find anything), doing my 4 mile run :) there was only 40 minutes to spare until I had to head out again.

Must must get DD to bed, it very late for her and it is school day tomorrow.

Getting head ache perhaps didn't drink enough water after my run.

Sparkles - I am declaring challenge completed

    WBF - 19 please :D

With respect, that was not helpful at all and such postings do nothing for this thread.

I have no children (for your information) and I resent the fact you have even mentioned that I might. I don't want praying for either, thanks very much.

We post on here to get support and vent problems and feelings, not to be criticised for being "losers".

"I pray" that you find some sensitivity if you decide to post further, in spite of the difficulties your past has presented to you. Some shock tactics are beneficial - your approach is not.

Today I need to keep myself busy to stop myself dwelling on things

    Plan
    [STRIKE]Ironing
    Washing x 4
    Clean bathroom
    Living Room
    Kitchen
    make ragu
    Move a shrub
    Sow some seeds
Tidy up a section of the garden[/STRIKE]
    Unblock drain

Blimey I'm cream crackered after all that lot today!

Feel like I have had 2 long gym workouts - the gardening is causing this however it makes me smile when I am managing to do all of this and reminding me of my dad who loved gardening and I think he would smile too at what I am doing

Had Radio 5 Live on and listened to the footie - the commentary of the Arsenal V Wigan match was very enjoyable - especially when the goals were scored. Much better than S*y and I*V commentary.

Right off to update the challenge list for today - 4 hours left :j

I heard some bells ringing loudly tonight for me and I just managed to stay AF :j Thank goodness for a bottle of Schloer, cooking tonights tea and tomorrow night's tea - plus me thinking if I had drunk a glass of wine while chopping up all the veg I would cut my fingers as I used to do and then blame it on being clumsy
